Our version of the South African Sausage. Our Borewors are made with Welsh Beef from Hugh Phillips Gower Butcher where we select cuts from the fore quarter and trim to 80% visual lean before mincing through a coarse plate. We then mix with the borewors seasning and add worcester sauce and malt vinegar. These sausage have a high meat content as there is no added rusk, just spices – toasted coriander seed, black pepper, nutmeg, cloves and allspice. Boerewors (pronounces BOO-ruh-VORS) is a South African fresh sausage that is perfect for the grill. The name means “farmer’s sausage” and comes from a combination of the Afrikaans words boer (‘farmer’) and wors (‘sausage’).
Packaging & Delivery
At Deli Cymreig we take pride in providing you with produce that is in prime condition. Our current dispatch days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, so bear this in mind when ordering.
We deliver to the whole of the UK and Ireland on a 24 hour, next day basis.
All our produce is vacuum sealed and packaged in sustainable packaging from WoolCool, the natural alternative to polystyrene with greater insulation properties. Insulated using lambs wool, our packaging is far more environmentally friendly.
